Description

This peanut butter stuffed chocolate bark is a fun treat! It's a simple recipe that delivers maximum flavor with crushed pretzel pieces on top!

Ingredients

Scale

Base layer:

  • 1 cup chocolate chips, I used dark
  • 1/2 tsp coconut oil

Peanut Butter Layer

  • 1/2 cup creamy peanut butter
  • 1/4 cup powdered sugar

Top layer:

  • 1 cup chocolate chips
  • 1/2 tsp coconut oil
  • 1/2 cup pretzels, crushed for topping

Instructions

  1. In a medium bowl, microwave 1 cup chocolate chips and coconut oil for the base layer. Microwave in 30 seconds segments to prevent from burning. Stir between heating.
  2. Prepare a baking sheet with parchment or wax paper.
  3. Once chocolate is melted, pour onto lined sheet pan and spread with a spoon of spatula. The chocolate should spread out to about the size of a sheet of paper. Once spread, place in freezer for 15-20 minutes.
  4. While the base layer is freezing, combine powdered sugar and peanut butter in a small bowl and set aside. Melt the chocolate for the top layer while waiting for the base layer to freeze.
  5. Once the base layer is frozen, spread the peanut butter layer on top of the base layer. Then pour the top layer on top of the peanut butter layer. Top with crushed pretzels and freeze for 20+ minutes.

Notes

I would suggest making sure your sheet pan fits in your freezer before pouring the chocolate on it.
