These healthy vegan fudgesicles are low in sugar, under 100 calories and can be made in under 10 minutes!
It's that time of year again, where the heat gets the best of us and we don’t feel like baking, much less turning on the stove. For those of you that don’t know me, I have got a sweet tooth. I think I inherited it from my momma ( Hi mom!).
After dinner each night I find myself back in the kitchen searching for that morsel of chocolate. I am, and always have been, healthy-minded. In college, I used to make applesauce cookies and experiment with different variations to make desserts ‘healthier.’ Looking back, I would say most of them were less to be desired but TIMES HAVE CHANGED, PEOPLE!
These healthy vegan fudgesicles are the answers to your (and my) prayers.
They are super easy to make, contain simple ingredients you probably have in your pantry and have WAY less processed ingredients compared to the brand name. And I mean way less. The average amount of ingredients in the brand name fudgesicle is fourteen, these are just 6!
If you haven’t tried the combination of avocado and chocolate yet you are missing out my friend. The creaminess of the avocado really brings the cocoa to life by enriching the texture and taming the bitterness from the chocolate.
The nutritional profile on these is stellar. Each under 100 calories and providing 3 grams of heart healthy fats that help you absorb more of your plant based proteins! Not to mention they are low in sugar ( 1 tbsp per 6 fudgesicles!)
How do I make Healthy Vegan Fudgesicles?
What you will need:
- Blender/ food processor
- Microwaveable bowl
- Reusable popsicle molds ( affiliate )
These popsicle molds are cheap, reusable and environmentally friendly. I will be making many fruit bars in them this summer! Amazon has other types, but this one had the best reviews and worked well in this recipe!
The assembly is pretty easy, once you make the vegan fudgesicle base just pour it into the 6 molds and then freeze. See? Easier than you thought, isn’t it?

Notes
If your fudgesicle doesn't come out of the mold right away, run it under hot water for about 20 seconds and it should slip right out.
