This blue cheese sauce is the perfect dip for parties, buffalo flavored dishes, steaks, salads and beyond! It's healthy, versatile and full of flavor!
No surprise. You guys know my love of buffalo flavoring, like this buffalo quinoa chicken salad, these buffalo wontons, or this buffalo cauliflower wrap but this blue cheese sauce has got me swooning! It's so creamy, tangy and has the right amount of bite to it. Not to mention it's not loaded with a ton of ingredients that you and I both can't pronounce or that it's free of preservatives, chemicals and all the GMO things! Phew, dodged a bullet on this one.
Loving what you see in this picture? I'll tell you how to make this buffalo cauliflower by the end of the week!
What to serve this Blue Cheese Dipping Sauce with?
- Use it as a condiment in a sandwich or wrap with buffalo cauliflower!
- Dunk just about any vegetable in it and boring broccoli instantly becomes flavorful.
- Serve it with some baked potato chips or on top of some homemade fries for a tangy twist.
- Get fancy and serve it with some grilled steak or on a burger
- Put some on a nice Cobb salad for a creamy texture.
Nutrition & Ingredients
One of the best things about this blue cheese sauce is that you can choose the consistency you want it at. Have you ever made homemade ranch dressing? It's kind of like that, where you can either leave it thick enough for a dip or thin it out to make it a dressing. You can choose!
- Greek Yogurt: Trust me on this one! It gives a tangy thickness to the sauce that isn't full of artificial ingredients! All you need is some plain Greek Yogurt, make sure it's not flavored!
- Blue cheese: I would highly suggest buying a quality blue cheese here! I recently started up-ing my cheese game and it's been a game changer. You can really taste the difference with a good quality cheese.
- Green onions: Dice up the green onions and toss them in the sauce. They add a nice pop of color and flavor.
- Milk: Here is where you get to choose. You can either thin out the blue cheese sauce with 3+ tablespoons or do a bit thicker ratio for a dip. I always start with a little and add more as needed.
Don't forget to "pin it" for later!

Cynthia
Easy and delicious! I love this with Buffalo chicken wings. I always have Greek yogurt on hand as a replacement for sour cream so this worked great for me. Pinned!
